هَاتُوا جَمِيعَ الْعُشُورِ إِلَى الْخَزْنَةِ لِيَكُونَ فِي بَيْتِي طَعَامٌ، وَجَرِّبُونِي بِهَذَا، قَالَ رَبُّ الْجُنُودِ، إِنْ كُنْتُ لَا أَفْتَحُ لَكُمْ كُوَى السَّمَاوَاتِ، وَأَفِيضُ عَلَيْكُمْ بَرَكَةً حَتَّى لَا تُوسَعَ." (ملا 3: 10).

إكرام الرب بالعطايا هو تعبير عن الشكر والمحبة، حيث يُحث المؤمنون على تقديم «بكور غلتهم» من ثمر الأرض، والعمل المخلص، وتقديم العشور والتقدمات بسخاء وسرور وليس عن اضطرار. العطاء هو استثمار لملكوت الله، وتكريم له من خلال تخصيص أجسادنا وحياتنا لخدمته ومجده

"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this," says the Lord of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it." (Malachi 3:10).

Honoring the Lord through giving is an expression of gratitude and love. Believers are encouraged to offer the "firstfruits of their increase" from the produce of the land and their sincere labor, presenting tithes and offerings generously and cheerfully, rather than out of obligation. Giving is an investment in the Kingdom of God and a way to honor Him by dedicating our bodies and lives to His service and glory.
